The Old One's Army is a unique Dungeon Defenders 2 crossover event that can be triggered by placing an Eternia Crystal on an Eternia Crystal Stand. Waves of enemies begin spawning from portals on both sides of the crystal, seeking to destroy it. The objective is to protect the Eternia Crystal until all waves are cleared – if the crystal is destroyed, the event automatically ends.

You are allowed to move/place dirt with a dirt rod during a battle. But it's only one piece of dirt at a time, and I've never tried it myself. The wiki says you can, though, so maybe you'll think of a way to make that useful. The portal towers are made of smooth marble and smooth granite, respectively, with stained glass windows, white/purple torches, and a couple more peace candles for good measure (wanted fewer random monsters bothering me while I'm not fighting the Old One's Army). No normal minion capacity ups but +3 Sentries. +3 from accessories means 4 summons, 6 from Pot+Table. One of the Old Ones sentries are useful in every fight between Golem and ML if you build for it.

If there's any block in the 10 block height it will stop the spawn. Also try clicking the stand with any item but the crystal.
